The EMPIRE STATE BUILDING is a 102-storey skyscraper in Manhattan, New York City. It took only one year and forty-five days to build this American cultural icon and it was completed in 1931. The building has a height of 380 metres and stands a total of 443.2 metres, including its antenna. Its name is derived from "Empire State", the nickname of New York. The building is the 5th tallest skyscraper in the United States and the 28th tallest in the world. It was the tallest in the world from 1931 to 1970. Every year about 3 million visitors visit this famous building.

On 28th September 2018, a group of twelve six-graders paid homage to this amazing building by making a 3D Puzzle. The students had a great time doing this educational and creative activity and they put a lot of effort to make a remarkable replica of it, in hope that one day they would be able to visit this colossal structure themselves.
